Small Batch Refrigerator Pickles

INGREDIENTS (Per Jar) Experiment with different spices to get them just the way you like them!

1 1/2 cups water

3 tablespoons white vinegar or apple cider vinegar

1 1/2 tablespoons kosher or pickling salt* (if you use regular salt, the brine will be cloudy)

2 teaspoons black peppercorns

1-4 cloves garlic, peeled

Fresh dill- 1 “head” in bottom of jar and the leafy greens from the rest of the stem

*1 bay leaf (optional) 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, or more/less to taste

Pickling cukes to fill jar, or use small slicers!

…that’s it, put it all in the jar and let sit at least two days. There are tons of recipes for pickles out there, but this is the bare-bones easiest!
